Turn the classic Moscow Mule cocktail into a fun and party-ready jello shot! With zesty lime, spicy ginger beer, and a kick of vodka, these jello shots will be the star of your next gathering. Easy to make and refreshing, they bring a lively twist to a beloved drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin 1 envelope
  • 12 oz Ginger Beer chilled
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Lime Juice or juice from 1-2 limes
  • 10 Lime Wheel for garnish
  • 10 2-ounce plastic ramekins with lids

Instructions

Prepare the Gelatin:

  • In a small mixing bowl, sprinkle 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder over ¼ cup cold ginger beer. Whisk to combine and let the gelatin soak while you prep the rest of the ingredients.

Heat the Ginger Beer:

  • In a small saucepan, bring the remaining ginger beer to a simmer over medium heat.

Dissolve the Gelatin:

  • Pour the warm ginger beer over the soaked gelatin and whisk until fully dissolved. Make sure there are no lumps left in the mixture.

Add the Vodka and Lime Juice:

  • Stir in ½ cup vodka and 1 ½ teaspoons fresh lime juice until everything is well combined.

Pour into Ramekins:

  • Place the plastic ramekins on a baking sheet. Pour the jello mixture into each ramekin, filling them almost to the top.

Chill:

  • Transfer the baking sheet with the ramekins to the fridge and chill for 2-3 hours, or until the jello has fully set.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Once set, remove the jello shots from the fridge. Garnish each shot with a quarter lime wheel for a festive touch, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra authentic Moscow Mule feel, you can serve these jello shots in mini copper mugs if you have them. The combination of ginger beer, lime, and vodka makes these shots taste just like the classic cocktail but in a fun, boozy jello form. Be sure to chill them long enough to get the perfect texture.
